Election Candidates


The candidates for the local elections on May 5th have been announced. Candidates for Willingham & Over, Histon & Impington, Waterbeach, Linton and The Wilbrahams.

Parliamentary candidate Jonathan Chatfield welcomed the decision "It is good to see such a strong group of candidates to support our five priorities:

  1. Affordable rented and shared ownership housing for people to live where they want to live.

  2. Support for rural businesses.

  3. Making South Cambs the greenest district in the country.

  4. Making our district a safe and healthy place to live.

  5. Ensuring that South Cambridgeshire residents benefit from the Greater Cambridge City Deal.
